Sharmeadia’s work sits at the intersection of equity, elegance, and strategy. She is faith-anchored and equity-driven, and she builds from the conviction that dignity, access, and ambition are not in conflict — that the women who have been waiting to be chosen are the very leaders the world needs most. Crowned Anyway is her invitation for them to stop waiting.
As the oldest of five siblings, she learned early that leadership is not a title you are handed. It is a responsibility you choose, every day, for the people who are watching you. That conviction runs through everything she builds: the CROWN Method, the workshops she facilitates, the communities she serves, and now this book.
AUTHOR CAREER BIOGRAPHY
Sharmeadia Gunter has spent twenty-six years inside the institutions that shape the leaders who shape everything else. As an Assistant Principal, Campus Culture Strategist, and Education Consultant, she has built the systems, mentored the people, and held the communities that make schools function at their highest level. She knows what it looks like when a capable leader is passed over. She knows because she was in the room.
She is the founder and Creative Director of Xquisite Design Co., a luxury leadership strategy and digital solutions brand offering event design, branding, digital products, AI solutions, and workshop facilitation. Through Xquisite Design Co., Sharmeadia brings the same rigor and precision she developed in educational leadership into the world of entrepreneurship, equipping professionals, nonprofits, and organizations with the strategic tools and branded experiences that make their work visible at the level it deserves.
